Volunteerism ia an integral part of life and gradually Nigerians are embracing it because of the beneficial impact on her community. This is why Volunteer Corps has attracted passionate individuals to help fulfill her mission.
Volunteer Corps (VC) is a non governmental Organisation whose focus is education, environment and health development with special attention on the Nigerian Teenager.
Volunteer Corps, established since 1992, is wholly founded with no political or religious affiliation and its mission is to significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of Nigeria by voluntary Services.
In Education, VC recruits students in their SSS classes from the Lagos State Senior Secondary Schools and engage them in tutorials in English Language, Mathematics and activities geared towards a balanced social integration.
Below are pictures from the just concluded Training and workshop titled, 'Teenage Psychology and working with 21st Century Teenagers', in partnership with Corona Schools Trust Council, Lagos. Held yesterday, 5th September 2015 at Corona School, Gbagada- Lagos.
