THE POWER OF A GROUP.

As Humans we are rarely separated from contact and interactions with other humans and in most cases these connections occur in a group context. This feeling  is natural with us because we are social beings.

Albeit, bear in mind that there is no neutral relationship. You gradually become what you associate with over time. Even a nonconformist will eventually take on the standards of the group to which he belongs.

So here are some suggested ground rules to follow:

·         Please do not join associations you don’t know or understand what they are about. Do your home-work well! Don’t just belong to one because some acquaintances or family members do.

·         Be intentional about joining associations or building friendships. Defining your purpose from the onset saves you time, energy, money and other recourses.

Research has proven that Groups can in some cases, change people’s behavior drastically that their behavior in a group bears no relationship to their behavior when isolated. It is also proven that Individuals may not like each other on a personal level, yet when they form a group they experience powerful feelings of unity.

Many are in wonderful positions in life because they made good contacts, so are some who are in jail for cases they know next to nothing about, because they made wrong choices. Life’s lessons are hard. Make  right choices today.

Food for thought: You are never strong enough to handle wrong associations!
